About our District
Central Baldwin Sunset Rotary is part of District 6880 which covers the southern half of Alabama. There are over fifty clubs in our district. We work with our district at events such as mid year and end of year district conference. Our district helps fund grants that clubs can use to assist their community. It also helps support Camp ASCCA and the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.

Bill Trant is a native of Opp, Alabama. He graduated from Opp High School and is a graduate of Gupton Jones Mortuary College in Atlanta, Ga. Mr. Trant has been in the funeral business for over 40 years. He lives in Opelika, and along with his son, Coley, owns and operates Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home & Crematory.

CAmp Asca
One of the major causes our district encourages us to support is Camp ASCCA. The mission of Camp ASCCA is "... is to help eligible individuals with disabilities and/or health impairments achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence. This is to be accomplished through a safe and quality program of camping, therapeutic recreation, and education in a year-round barrier-free environment."
Each year our district encourages us to help send campers to Camp ASCCA and encourages clubs to attend a day at Camp ASCCA in the summer to see what camp life is like. For more about Camp ASSCA please go to www.campascca.org/

RYLA: Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
RYLA is an activity sponsored by District 6880 of Rotary, representing some 49 Rotary Clubs in south-central Alabama. These clubs select and sponsor approximately 100 young people to meet in an unfamiliar setting to focus on leadership and decision making skills. We stress the Rotary Four Way Test of things we think, say or do:

Will It Build Good Will And Better Friendships?
Will It Be Beneficial To All Concerned?
